The process of naturalization is divided in several steps, each one with his own specific timeframe. How long each step take will depend on each particular applicant’s case, but overall the processing time for a naturalization application is 5 to 6 months. Below we describe each one of the naturalization process steps.

Once you have checked if you meet all the requirements to become a U.S. Citizen, you can start preparing your U.S. Citizenship Application through Form N-400. Through our online software you can finish your application within 30 - 40 minutes, all you have to do is answer a questionnaire that will gather all the necessary information to prepare your citizenship application. To start your online application you will be required to create an online account HERE. We require you to create an account in order to properly secure and encrypt all your information and save it in case you want to finish your application later.
We recommend you to gather the following information in order to finish your online application within the timeframe we have mentioned: Children information (in case you have), parents information, trips outside the U.S. and employ information about you. In case you are married, your spouse was married or you were married in the past, gather all the information regarding your spouse, your spouse’ ex spouses and you previous spouses as well.
After you have finished your online application and filed it following the instructions we give you, in 1 to 2 weeks you will receive a Notice of Action from the USCIS confirming the reception of your application package.
After you have received a confirmation from the USCIS of the reception of your citizenship documents, in 3-5 weeks you will receive a second Notice of Action notifying you about the date, time and location for your biometrics appointment. You will be fingerprinted and photographed for the purpose of conducting FBI criminal background checks.
You will receive a third notice of action after 2 - 3 months of your biometrics appointment, in which you will be notified about the date, time and USCIS office location for your naturalization interview.
We will guide you throughout this whole process and give you instructions that will help you pass this interview with no problems.
After 3 - 5 weeks of your naturalization interview, you will receive a written notice of decision to inform you if your naturalization application was GRANTED or DENIED.
Once your naturalization application was granted, you will receive a notification informing you about the date, time and location for the Oath of Allegiance Ceremony. Once this ceremony is completed you will receive your Certificate of Naturalization grating you all the same rights and benefits of the U.S. citizens.
